Mantle Portable Lamp in

$87.75 ~~$135~~ In stock

Conceived as a way to enhance the dining experience and bring people together, Mantle was carefully designed to cascade light downwards to illuminate a surface. The slender size and conical form allow light to project evenly, while the handle encourages easy interaction.

To celebrate the theme, the color finish references the rugged serving materials found on the dinner table, such as earthenware, stone and enamel.

The name Mantle refers to both the cloaking of the internal batteries and circuity by a single sheet of stainless steel and the classic clock or cape-like form.

The downward light cascade is perfect for keeping the table bright without glare in anyone's eyes. It's slender enough to tuck between the salt and pepper shakers without feeling bulky.

The way the light pools down onto the table without any glare in my eyes is perfect for dinner parties. The slender size makes it easy to move around, and the battery lasts through a whole evening of conversation.

Picked this up for dinner parties and the downward light really does focus nicely on the tabletop without blinding anyone across the table. The slender size is perfect for a small space, though I wish the cord were a touch longer for more flexibility in placement.
